Clock Tower Posted: 20 December 2011 We have just started restoration work on the splendid clock tower and the two bells it houses. We hope to have the bells fully functioning early next year so that they can be used as part of your wedding day celebrations. Initial investigations have uncovered graffiti dating back to 1943. Scratched into the tower’s roof, the graffiti reads “RAF P Milmore 1943”, “Fitzwilliam 1944” and “F Robson 1944” but there are no more details. To read our full Press Release, CLICK HERE. |
